Finance - Some Reasons Why NWA Is A BAD Investment
"Northwest to sell junk notes. Northwest Airlines Corp., the fourth-largest U.S. airline, plans to sell $200 million of senior unsecured five-year notes, according to people familiar with the sale. I can think of several reasons why all NWA investments should be considered junk. First, NWA management thinks and acts like teenage boys. selfish, egotistical, short term gain oriented. Second, it is well documented that as a direct result of management's attitude, NWA employees are not motivated to serve the company's or the customer's best interests. Third, so many customers have been screwed by NWA that now there are a significant number of people who do their best to avoid the airline. In my opinion all of these factors make investment in NWA unattractive. |
